Black Eye
On monday night while out playing in the backyard William fell off Hyrum's scooter and split his cheek open. After a lot of blood, a little bit of super glue and kisses from mommy he was as good as new. Over the next few days he developed a pretty good shiner. The other day while at the Botanical Gardens a little girl looked at him and said, "Wow, I've never seen a real black eye before." It looks awful but he isn't phased by it at all. He even had the guts to get back on the scooter the next morning. He is definitely all boy!
Right after he was all glued up. 
Before going to bed that night his eye had begun to swell.

The famous Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta was this past week. It is absolutely breathtaking to see hundreds of balloons in the sky at the same time.
Baby Blessing
Today we had the privilege of blessing our little Thomas Craig Yorgason. It was a bit different not having family here with us, but it was still a special experience. We feel blessed to have sweet Thomas in our family. He brings a calm spirit into our home. We love him more than we can say!

Totally impressed by that shiner! That by far surpasses any shiner we've had around here! Little Thomas is so sweet! How exciting! Being far from family sure makes you appreciate the times together!
Ouch...that is all I can say! WOw! And thre is something magical for kids to see balloons in the air. Don't you love ABQ for that reason. You have the cutest boys!!
Wiliam is such a tough kid! Any other little boy wouldn't even attempt the scooter again. You guys are doing such a good job as parents....your family is so cute!
I can hardly believe those pictures of William! Wow! I'm glad you took the day to day pics, so we can see the progression. I love that he's smiling in most of them. He's so cute! His hair has come in lighter, hasn't it? At first, I thought it was Hyrum!
We're sad we missed Thomas' blessing. I'm glad it was still a special day. We can't wait to meet him and see you all in November!
Maybe one of these years we'll make it there for the balloon fest!
Way to keep your cool. I would have lost it if one of my kids had a black eye like that. Very impressive
